Does anyone know of a seasoned RF Engineer that could help with a Part 15 or there abouts design ?

No, the radio system will control PLC's and Robotics.

Can you tell me more? I'm an MIT EE grad student. If it's a simple embedded system, I can handle it. If you're actually building transmitters from the ground up, I probably know a few people who can do it.

Analog is preferred...Transmitter will be up to 8 channels on one end and receiver up to 8 channels on the other end....The transmitter will be powered by a 9 volt battery....Packaging, the board, antenna and battery will be housed in a 2.5" x 4" +/- case....A key pad up to 6 channels will be located on top of the case... Clock time will be 250 ms. or less....Range will be 300 ft. uninterrupted, w/the users body between the transmitter and receiver (The body is a bag of salt water, which can be hard to drive the signal through. )

Receiver will be open chassis with a foot print as required....Output will be dry contact relay or transistor....Power will be 18 volt DC, 120 AC or 240 AC in., 12 and/or 24 out.

Transmitter and receiver will be licensed, part 15.

Spread spectrum or similar is acceptable.

Zigbee, TI and other digital chips may not work, primarily because of range.

Well you see, as slow as it is, one can sit on the beach and have plenty of time to run three or four, simultaneously.

If you caught me 15yrs ago when i was working at Motorola in Cell site R&D I probably would have done it no problem...hell the guys i worked with would have loved the change of pace to play with something different.....but i've been out of the field for so long and havent even looked at anything remotely RF i would need to dust off the books and do a refresher course! :D

Me...no...but i did put 3 emails out to the guys i worked with that are still in the industry to see if anyone is interested. Hopefully if they arent busy they can help ya...give Mangle a shout too...im sure since he is school they can do it a class project or something... :D
