"Don Onkan is talking about going as well in the new open-cockpit 50 we’re building for him with twin V-16 engines—I think he’s making 1,600 or 1,700 horsepower a side—but I’m not sure that his drives will be ready,” added Cosker

Why so little? They are two big blocks mounted together. You would think that 2000hp would be very doable.

I believe there whole agenda has been reliable power.
Coupled together to make the big power, but reliable as
technically four stand alone units.

Great plan, but for a speed run I would think they might want to turn them up a bit.

Guess it depends on the ulitmate agenda.

Speed?

Or promoting there engine package and the perfomance
it produces in it's current state?

Should be a nice show from the sounds of the current list
of players
