Yes, you loose a little lenght when you do a cut down flat deck. That measurement (35'.6") is from the nose to the transom (where the drives mount) not from the nose to the end of the tunnel extension, bussel or a swim platform.

That is a decent paint scheme, all the bright colors and still looks good years later. The price seems to be a few years old in the ad though!
