I'm Biased probably toward Nikon optics (camera's scopes etc), one of my favorite cameras is a Nikon FE. I researched this last fall and the D-1 was what I felt I needed to be where I wanted to be. From the comments it sounds like may people have come to the same conclusion.

Seems to be a lot of cameras that are adequate for every day use but anything trick costs $$$$$$. Still haven't taken the plunge yet.

any opinions on how large of a print i could do from a six MP camera? The Canon d-60 seems to fit all other needs the size of prints i can make is my only hesitation now.
