Default Phenomenon Out for Shootout

Contrary to the rumors, http://www.boats.com/boat-content/20...-for-shootout/.

It would have been great to see Phenomenon make speed runs at this year's Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, but it's still shaping up to be the event of the year.

Would have been great to see them run even if it was an exhibition pass. They should still bring it up for display purposes, the boat really is amazing when seen in person.

Agree. Pix don't do it justice.

Sorry to hear they aren't gonna make the ShootOut.

They had some sort of issue this past week testing and almost sank the boat from what I hear. Not sure what happened but they apparantly punched a hole in the bottom. I spoke with someone that was at the boat launch where they put in. They didn't get the boat in until late at night.(1 am or later) From what I understand, the Coast Guard had to bring out a pump to keep the water out of the boat.
I obviously was not there, so I am going on anothers word. Does anyone know exactly what happened?
Regardless, I wish they could make it and I wish them all the best. They will get it worked out I'm sure. Good luck Al Jr. and Scotty.

Sad to see them miss it. Glad to know they're OK after any incident. Safe is pretty important. When it's ready, I'm sure we'll see a heck of a run.
