That is terrible! Is navigation difficult in that area? I am assuming it was an unlit bouy?

Tragic, and "apparently" the usual combination for a fatal result. Night time boating and alcohol.

There was a report they hit the "19" green. This is a lit marker for the main channel down the Bay, they bring freighters and tankers down there, no problem navigating at all. Now I have no first hand knowledge but if they hit that one, then it is likely the bottle was driving.
