Sounds great, would you be doing this for the KW run?

When ever I see an offer to sell a boat ride in an ultra performance boat I can not help but think of the liability and the lack of insurance coverage. I really doubt a pleasure boat insurance policy would cover a commercial ride. I have had offers up to $1000 for a ride in my boat and always declined.

I love that Skater by the way. I am only making a suggestion about the risks.

I appreciate the feedback, Thank you. There will be waivers required. This is an at your own risk ride. If you are not willing to accept the risk involved please do not bid.

Dont think a waiver will hold up if your accepting money for a ride,I believe you need a captain's charter boat license. By the way I love that boat.

Thanks, the boat is a blast. Thanks guys for the feedback, but I would rather not turn this into a legal debate.

Pretty much everyone I know has accepted money for boat rides. Don't your friends chip in for gas and beer etc??????????? He just needs to re word the ad a little and creat a back story before he leaves the dock.

I really dont see how this is ANY different than the "charity" rides that are auctioned off at Poler Runs, its the same thing, you "bid" on a ride in a fast boat, same as here, the money goes to charity, thats all. I dont see it being an issue
