Eddie build a pair of 950' s for my 388 Hustler in 2005, they have 288 hours and six summers of fun. Eddie is a straight up guy, and is one of the best in the business, if not the best.
Makes a mean pot of gumbo too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He saw my post on my 454 rpm problem, went out of his way and he reached out to me! I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with him today. How awesome is that!!!

I met Eddie for the first time last Saturday while waiting to run. He talked about his 39 Skater and the other boats that he had built engines for. Seemed like a really nice guy. If I ever need blower motors...........

Here is a pair of 598ci 3.3L whipple motors that he built for me. They made the most torque of ANY single 3.3L carb motor according to Dustin. They made 1138 ft lb where we started the pull and I have them on video hitting 1200 ft/lb. They make 945 hp on 93 and a 1014hp on 100 octane. They run like a bat out of H E L L and idle like hp 500s. My wife can drive the boat around the dock with just the shifters. They run just like EFI and better than a lot of guys big power EFI motors. My wife may run this boat and engines in the shootout next year and I will run the 37 OL again. This was a complete restoration and rigging from the ground up that Eddie did. The rigging is immaculate.

And........all I do is change the oil and ride.

Yeah.....and my phone didn't ring either. The only part about his awesome cajun cooking is that you have to just show up unnanounced to get any unless it is at one of the annual YPM cajun cooking events.

I have to agree with whats been said. I've shared emails, and talked with Eddie on the phone. Not only is his technical advice fantastic, his personality is even better. A real pleasure to talk to.

Eddie, I would also be interested in some shirts!! Did you ever get the "Eddie Young" blow up doll going yet? I'll take one of those too.
