Interesting...I'm sure there is more to that. I heard someone wasn't very happy they went 100.

No problems. Boat ran great! Made some changes and got the data we were looking for.
Having a 40mph start speed we knew we had nothing for Dave S.'s drag engines! Or even some of these small skaters with big power. his 208 number was AMAZING!!!!! Callan's 209 was done with t55's and a faster start speed! Again hats off to Dave s and his team!!!!

But this is a shootout not a sanctioned race event. The rules do distingiush a 525 as "stock" so without a blower what else can you do besides turn up the ecm? (which they all do anyway)

I would sure like to hear from the experts on this.
I've been reading, and have been told on numerous occasions, a 525efi ecm is not that easy to hack. So, unless they are using an after market ecm or have the Merc passcodes, how is this accomplished?

Do you know this for a fact, or just hearsay?

F = Modified Factory Engine without Power (includes 525Sc Stock)
P= Power added features (blowers, turbos, nitros, etc)
So I'm wondering why they'd be DQ'd if it was a modified ecm?
