Talking FINALLY!!! I got a new(er) truck!!!!

1998 Dodge half ton 4x4 Ext. Cab SLT. Electric Blue (not my first choice of colors, but sometimes you have to go with what's available). 360 V-8, 73,000 miles (salesman's vehicle), $15,000. One draw back is it has a 3.55 rear axle, but that's the same axle my current dodge has, and I've had no trouble towing with it for 7 years. Bed liner, toneau cover, brand new (10 miles, all of them mine!) Dunlop tires, new brakes, factory hitch, factory wiring, etc... Oh, and they gave me $3000 for mine (1994 standard cab 4x4, 318 v-8, 174,000 miles and rusty (way rusty) doors, clunky u-joints, oh and it needs tires)

Now for the "*****" part.....I have to get them my truck by Wed. Gonna take me that long to get the stereo out of it!!!! This will also delay my motor going in the Baja by a day or two. But, I NEED a new truck, so oh well. Some things you just have to do.

Hey Boathead, I stayed on the Dodge Bandwagon!!!! So there!!!

Foul, I think you'll be fine w/ the 3.55, the 3.92 would really be howling @ 75 mph in drive. Good luck w/ the new truck.

Got the stereo out. Without the help of my friend Ryan, it would not have even come close to happening in one night. Got the stocker back in ans working too!!

Nerf bars are definitely coming off. As soon as I get home tomorrow night!! Other than that, the only thing they are getting for free is my OSO Charter Member sticker

that 360 is a good motor...I pulled my 23 powerquest from Det to mackinaw city one tank of gas got 11.5 mpg pulling the boat at 72 mph roughly 2750RPM the jacobs ignition really helped along with the wires. Hope you enjoy the Dodge..
