David Scott/Budweiser boat?????

Dean - No, our kilo attempt will not be during the Shoot-Out. The Shoot-Out is a race for one mile from a dead stop whereas a certified kilo run allows for a flying start and is measured as an "average" speed. Currently, the Shoot-Out record, which is the top radar speed attained in the mile run, is held by the Budweiser/Bacardi Silver boat at 165 mph. However, we are planning on running the Shoot-Out again this year and are hopeful that we can break 165.
Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you in Daytona. If you are in Marathon, please stop by and say HI.

Kilocat,
Thanks for the invite, don't know about making it to Marathon, but we are considering the Savanah Ga. race. A good friend of mine here Lockheed is friends with the Carmody crew, (His wife grew up with Jack and Chris) and we are all thinking about heading up there for the race. If so, we'll definitely stop by and say hello.
Take care,
Dean

Kilokat,
The boat looked awesome. I was in the green boat leading the pack and seeing your boat fly by was a treat on the water. Boat sounded awesome as well, good luck with the new records.

Then what are you going to do with the other boat? Just use it for Kilo's?

Dave,
I'm glad that your still running the boat. Looks good too. I had seen the boat, but didn't know it was the same one.
Buddy of mine that lives on the lake (I think you know him Darren Dahl) had told me that you were going to be running two boats. That's why I had been looking for the Bud boat too. Although I still liked the Bud boat, good, clean looking ride.
I always look forward to seeing you run at the shootout.
Good luck.

Yes, I still have my 36' Skater pleasureboat. It stays in Nauti-Marine's display room most of the time but I plan on taking it to The Lake for Memorial Day. It is available for sale with or without power. For further details you can e-mail me at [email protected] or feel free to visit with me in Marathon.
