I was wondering how difficult it is to remove bottom paint. Is it possible to save the gel/graphics underneath? I ask because I found a 02 fountain 29 for a cheap price with only 92 hours on it with a 500efi, but It has bottom paint.

The bottom can be media blasted removing just the bottom paint and barrier coat leaving the gelcoat. The gelcoat will need to be polished back up to a shine.

What about the sides where the grapics are? I know gelcoat is pretty tuff stuff. Any idea how much this could cost?
