Do they see the source of water intrusion yet? Or did someone climb down and close the thru-hull before she surfaced?

from what I have seen they usually dont look for the problem they just pump it while its towed to a marina then pull it out and look for the cause.

at least thats been my experience.

I see what you are asking. Do you think they covered the name on purpose ??

BUIZILLA 09-19-2010 08:32 AM

they may have done that to seal the deck scuppers, transom door, and exhaust outlets..

No, It just has a Navy blue transom.

I was watching the boat all night. It is definetly taking on water. Last night when they left the waterline was clearly visable. Today it's not.
I'll be watching!!

Anyone have an idea of the cost to raise a boat this size? I'm sure there are plenty of mitigating factors, especially water depth... just curious.

If you are a Sea Tow member it is covered in your $149 membership right? :D

I suspect the guidelines are preset like $1,000 a foot or something.

Unbelievable. Thanks, Gino, for documenting this raising. Informative to see how this is done (not that I hope I'll ever need to know myself)..
