p.s I am not stirring the pot just curious!!

I will be attending my first race in Marathon. As the self appointed captain of the OSO Beaded Necklace Distribution Team, I look forward to the "sights" in the Keys. Oh yeah, I'm psyched about the racing too! :p

I will be there the 16th thru the 19th......The spy will also be in attendance with one other Top Gun.......It will be my first race as well..........:D :D :D

Realized Gain will be in Marathon!!!
 

I'll be there in the One Design (Reindl Powerboats) #1 boat -- Lime green with yellow tribal flames.

We're hoping to make it down there--Chances are, we will!

We're thinking long and hard about it. It's only two weekends away and we haven't really made official plans yet, but we would really like to go. Just a quick road trip down there and spend one night. You?

New to this board and first post. I've been entertained and impressed by all your information etc for a long time
I'm interested in going to the keys but would like to know what other area to watch than the 7mile bridge - the wife won't stand on the bridge. Any one know thanks Jim B.

We will be there from the 17th thru 20th. Staying at the Blackfin Resort. Hope to do Key West one night, the girls want to do some shopping. Planning on lunch on the way down at Gilberts around 2pm on Friday the 17th.

When is the race? I'll be in a moving truck the 18th and 19th heading to Ft. Myers.

I'm a long time "lurker" on OSO and seasoned veteran over at www.donzi.net (Donzi owners forum). I'll be in Marathon with the people from Donzi Marine. Look us up.

Is there a common meeting place or time for the "OSO members?"

Realized Gain- did you see the new updates for APBA regarding helmets and lifejackets that they must be of international orange- aren't you wearing the lime green jackets- you might want to check into it...

Yes, we saw the updates and just bought another dozen Orange hemets, replacing the $500 each green ones that were brand new. Notice in the pics of the race we had the Orange Helmets on during the race, for safty's sake.

Thanks for the heads-up on the rule change. . . like Chris said a couple of posts ago, we had to scrap the lime green helmets, but for a restrained cockpit, the lime green life jackets are okay (this week anyway :eek: )
