I am going to be the one guy that is not impressed by this form a racing, from a driving stand point. I raced cars for years and drifting is the the completer opposite of being fast but I guess that is the idea. Its like stunting is to motorcyling. its an art for sure but dam my car owner would have killed me for killing the car like that
But to easch their own

But to easch their ownI really wouldn't call this racing. The stunting to motorcycling is a pretty good analogy. Bump skier to downhill racer, etc.
That doesn't take away from this guy's skills. Wonder how he'd do in a "real" race. THAT would be interesting.

You guys do realize that Ken Block is a "real" racer, right?
Unless of course you don't consider the World Rally Championship circuit to be "real" racing. (I do.)
He does these Gymkhana videos as promo stunts.

Haven't followed WRC for a bunch of years. I was thinking more of the drifting only guys.

As speced it is more like the European rallycross cars, which are often ex-wrc cars with more HP.
Here is one on Pikes peak http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8nptFx1jug
