When I was 16 I bought my first car (negotiated the deal), was paying for my own car insurance, dealing with the agent, going to school, working a job and playing 3 sports. And would have got my A$$ kicked by my father for running up a $15 phone bill. Kids these days........

Haven't you heard of Limewire ?
If you left the rubrail on the boat, it wouldn't look nearly as bad. If anything, you have a 2x2ft scratch going on and had some cleaning. Looks like you made out pretty good. Again, not nearly as much damage as you making it out to be.
