looking for some new big power marine motors. here are the prices I've heard. chief 1350's - 75k each, smith 1800 turbo's-100k each, mercury 1350 turbo- 120k, outerlimits 1700's- 100k, sterling 1700's - 100k each, does anyone make a 1400hp pump gas motor with 1 year warrany for under 60k?, the next question will be what drive to hold these engines, merc 6 or 8, arneson 8, weisman, bpm, tri max

No,

A local guy, had this boat specificially built for his twin turbo motor, because the Rage wasn't able to handle the power. He liked Johns color scheme, and had Nordic build him something similar.

Just needs marinizied, you can make 800hp with almost any LS based truck or car engine with $800 set of heads and decent cam/valve train. Here's a stock 5.3, with Comp cam, L92 heads as cast, 9psi = 792hp.

Actually, from the video, it looks like tremendous lag, hit the throttle and it went to 6-7psi and wrapped around to 13-14psi? Hard to see, but watch the sweep. I never film boost, as its always instant, but here's one on a Ford GT (car), doesn't matter if its auto/marine for boost curves on PD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPRnCwE-ZcE

Yep that is what I am thinking. I have not been able to use the boat much, and have had it for sale. I was wanting to do one of your LS1 kits in some kind of street car.
