Default Question on timing my 454 Mag

I have a 454 mag engine with a Thunder bolt 4 ignition. What should my full advanced timing be at and what RPM? Also should my base timing be at 8 or 10?

I found that 8 work great cause total should be no more than 30. JOHN

Stock base timing is 8*. Your module should be a V8-24. Total timing can be checked at around 3700rpms and it should be 32*.
You can easily bump it to 10* base and 34*total, for a little better idle and throttle response.
