Did OL make Stilletto's in 2006 and 2007 ?

The last one I saw advertised was an 03..dont know of any being built in 04.. it was out west somewhere.. Ol was developing their 39' models.. I prefer the 37 all the way around vs OL 39..and the epoxy boats you can have them..

Apples to apples, you would have to compare a 38 gun to the boats mentioned(bravo based). The 39 gun with the 700 package is hard to beat and really shouldn't be compared

ok.. you have had both.. what do you prefer and why:grinser010:.. 38PP vs 37 OL..Thanks Jeff

I believe the customers boat for the article was around 101.7 but don't quote me.. The Yanmar boat was around 80-82... that i know for a fact. Jeff

They post all different numbers like acceleration; mid-range acceleration; RPM vs MPH; top-end; time to plane, fuel economy...I think it would be good to compare the boats based on all those aspects.

I received a PM asking what makes the hull ocean worthy and strong since the picture I posted only showed the fluff.

I found it a good question. And I don't get asked it often enough. The picture on the left is what is under the liner and in the nose of the boat. The one of the right is the engine bay.

Sorry it took a while to locate a picture. :drink:

I have my opinion, both have run into the 120 range.. that would be John-Thundersone and John-Cant Touch This..I have never been in these boats at those speeds. Both great boats with similar power..

No Discipline did not have triple 525's. It was a staggered stock 525 boat that did hit 100 once or twice which is incredible for a very, very big 39ft boat with 525's. The boat that was in powerboat magazine was Marc Jameson's boat from NJ which also had 525's.

Seriously, can we please switch topics, say something less conflicting, like ummm, Religion or Politics?

I would choose the manufacturer with the least amount of pending lawsuits :party-smiley-004:
