These boats were built by many manufactures on the west coast. I believe I had the first one built back in 1976 buy the Cheetah boat company [AKA Lancer Marine ] sold to me by Jim Clem here in Michigan. Mine was well built but had a wet ride in moderate chop at speeds slower than 40mph.
By 1978 Can Am boats were building them, as well as Panther Marine. I had my orange one for about 4 years then traded it for a Magnum 27' sport.

I see no negative draft in that hull. Why can't you use a one piece hull mold?
