How much time was on the boat before the redo? Why did it need all this work so soon ? Was it just built to be so light for the speed record that it was falling apart and is now setup to use ?

I had never seen the boat in person so don't know how well it was put together at first.

Boat wasnt falling apart. It has been used alot over the years and im sure Scott thought by updating the interior and paint would help the boat sell. The boat is light and strong and wont come apart structurally.

Thumbs up NOTHING was wrong with boat, just did not have power when we started project

Not sure on exact time but like most these big motor boats, not very many.

There was NOTHING wrong with boat except
1) It was aged like any boat
2) Paint needed updating
3) Interior needed to be updated to match the exterior
4) Had no motors, that why it has new NOT rebuilt motors
5) ATL Bladders were bad so we replaced with aluminum tanks
6) Trailer was repainted and all axles and bearings gone thru to make sure it was road worthy.

I can assure you Mike Fiore spent more time building this boat for speed run than almost any boat he has ever built. Feel free to call Mike for any history on boat.

Regards,

Team Shogren

Scott, was hoping to catch up with you at the Fun Run to Marco Island on New Years Day. We went with Jim and Kelli Agles out of Cape Coral. Jim said you had to head back. It was a blast. Have to get together sometime or may take a drive up from Central IL.
