Does anyone know if DJD's sale went through on his Cig.???

RumRunner 05-09-2002 07:35 PM

Does anyone know where there is another 38' SE for sale ? We had one back in 84, custom kevlar hull. To this day, still one of the best riding boats I've ever been in, in the rough stuff.

puder 05-09-2002 08:31 PM

i think his deal fell apart. There was thread last week "what to do" is was about weather or not he should give the deposit back.

Where's DJD ???

DJD 05-11-2002 10:43 PM

Hey, hey hey! I'm back!
Well Sharkey, the deal fell through. While dic*head was playing games with me, potential sale #2 was turned away and bought a boat. A day or two later, my deal fell apart because he said he couldn't get insurance (my ins. broker told me later that he gave him a great price).
I just took my boat up to Ocean Performance today to let them sell it for me.
If anyone has intrest, I can arrainge an AWSOME price!

DJD 05-11-2002 11:31 PM

Too Old, does that mean I should be expecting your check to be delivered by Fed Ex on Monday??? LOL
I agree that the Flat Decks are awsome!
I wish I didn't have to let her go. I'm sure I'll be looking to buy it back in a few yrs.
Supporting a 42 Post and a 38 Cig just isn't going to work for me right now:mad:

SHARKEY-IMAGES 05-12-2002 06:22 AM

:( Sorry to hear that Dave. I'll keep the ad posted. Let me know if any changes are needed. Anyone that needs to see the advertisement for the Cig. can click here to go to my CLASSIFIEDS

J-BOAT 05-12-2002 09:05 AM

RumRunner 05-12-2002 09:13 AM

Classic Flatdecks are alive & better than ever, orignal 41' Apache
mold, latest cored layup construction. Lighter, tighter and faster
with the look that sucked us all into this crazy addiction called
Offshore. Saber built mine in 2000 with counter rotating Sterlings.

Alamo128 04-25-2020 09:46 PM

Looks great, once I can post some pics of the boat I have I will post them

Biff 04-29-2020 12:35 PM

3 nicest 38 flatdecks

I think the 3 nicest 38 flatdecks are all on Lqke Michigan. Icedepple (red/white), Sonic 700 (pics in this post), and I think there is also one in Racine Wisconsin that looked realy nice. They have set the bar realy high!

ICDEDPPL 04-29-2020 01:55 PM

Kris Kvogh has a really nice one with arnesons.
Ryan your boat had a radar arch?
lol

Biff 04-29-2020 02:38 PM

Yeah, the boat with the surface drives, that is the one I was thinking of.

Indy 04-29-2020 05:02 PM

There is an absolutely stunning redo of a flat deck (or is it a wide body) with cobra stripes I think in MI too (could be wrong on the location), this is the only pic I can come up with but there was a thread on it a year or so ago.
