Default 28 VIP Vindicator

I am looking at a 1993 VIP Vindicator that is 28 foot in length with twin 454's for 17500.00. Here is a link to the boat, just wondered if this was a good price. Appears to be in great shape.

I've seen only 2 VIP products come thorough our place on trades. So, my sample size isn't very large. I can say that both of them were very poorly built though. One had all of the structural integrity of limp pasta. I think the bow rails pretty well held that end of the boat together. Just my 2 cents though.

Looks like a nice boat for the money.
I had a Vindicator back in 1991 ... bought it new and ran it for many trouble free seasons .
Twin 330's should run for a long time ... good luck in your search what ever you decide .

I don't have any 1st hand experience with them. Sounds like a decent deal but it might be hard to get rid of when the time comes.

Does sounds like a good deal as long as you realize what your buying which is a cheaper built boat. Don't get me wrong I love my 24ft and it works well for me and my family but it does have flaws in workmanship. I had to rewire my dash because it was one big rats nest and I couldn't trace any of the wires, the top deck is starting to delaminate even though it's never stayed out in the weather or abused, just to name two. The builder "Vivian Industries" which is better known for its fishing boats has folded so no support there. Just all things to consider. I know this sound a little negative but just trying to let you know what I've experienced with mine. But if that's your budget and its nice, go for it.
