Default 1996 27 fever won't start

Hi I am new to the forum and to my 1996 27 fever with a blown 502. I took the boat to get winterized and they said they ran it about 20 min the gas gage showed 1/4 tank now it wont start any ideas I think it might be out of gas just want to be aware if they try to tell me something major is wrong. They did say there is spark and the plugs are dry Thanks Jerry

Look in the carb & see if it has gas squirting when you pump it.

Gas gauages will read different on the trailer vs in the water.

Fountain gas gauges are know for being inaccurate after it comes off full. 1/4 tank is probably closer to empty, and depending on how the boat was sitting on the trailer, the pick-up in the tank may not be pulling what little fuel was left.
