Hey Joey, when does it really get warm enough to go boating there??? And how long is the season?

I probably boat about the average here at the Lake, from April to September, but as far as what I would call warm weather and water it's really from Memorial Day to mid September.

But when it gets hot, it's "HOT", the humidity will take your breath away.
In July and August the humidity is mostly in the mid/upper 90s or 100% man does it feel hot.

So we boat every weekend (Friday-Sunday) to get as many in as we can and if anybody plans anything for us during the Summer (unless it's at the Lake) their usually SOL, we probably won't be there.

For the "Support your Troops Poker Run" at LOTO in 2009 it was 105 deg with 100% humidity and people who weren't from here couldn't believe it, there were over 100 boats in it.

I only want to hold something that temperature in my hand when I first open it, ever again.

I know, off topic....

These were from last Winter, now everybody knows why we're looking for a place in Cape Coral.
My neighbor cutting the 6" inch thick "ICE" from around our docks with a chain saw.
