But sadly as you have mentioned I wonder if the company will be around in 10 years for me to purchase from. I was browsing the Miami show list yesterday and noticed they were not onnthe list and was disappointed. They seem to be their own means to an end.
Just to clarify, the newer 460 BT's will run a best of 75-76 with twin 525's. Trip 525's is a best of about 85mph. They have tickled 90 with 700's and NXT's.

Ours when it had 750 NA's ran a best of 99.8, and would solidly run 94-95.

I do like the BT's...even with the old look but they do need some interior updating...I think they still have their nitch too but sounds like they need some management restructuring/refocusing if they're still alive and kicking.
I think that is an old ad That was when the guy i sold it to had it for sale

with the 51 OL and the 50 NT in the marketplace I don't know why a new boat buyer would even look that direction (BT). It is like a 1992 corvette vs a 2010.

I know I just built my boat barn big enough to fit a 50' Nortech on a gooseneck trailer. Hopefully one day I can go after all of Bobthebuilders records..

51/52 OL's are great but not in the same class as a NT 50. The OL will be geared for speed, the NT will be set up for everything/ all around boat.

I would love to have either!

I haven't had the opportunity to look at these boats, but I have looked at a 43 Nor-tech which is on the top of my list...but it doesn't have 6'10" of head room either and I'm over 6'
