I'll add another vote for the Activator. I've been up close and personal with the red sled mentioned earlier in this thread. I own a newer 27, and as an admittedly novice driver, other guys with twin engines have trouble staying with this boat, It just does its thing with no BS. Another benefit is the red boat was set up by one of the best in the biz; Skip and the crew at MRD.

Thanks Stormrider ;-)

And Moses --- before you say anything about me wanting to sell -- it is only because i'm looking for a 41'-- other than that my 28' is great.

If any of you know of anything out there let me know. Nothing against Baja and Powerquest but thats not my style. I boat on Lake Cumberland and I don't want to see my exact boat out there. Thanks for the help!
If you change your mind on the PQ, let me know if your interested in a 01 Powerquest 280 about 150 hours 75mph turn key extra clean in your price range.

I personally went with a Powerplay 28. Runs great in the rough, rare (13 built) and good looking S Fl lines. Look at the Powerplay thread in GD here to see the build quality.

I've been thinking of selling mine (but now leaning towards "upgrading" my vette to a Z06 instead). Here's some pics as you don't see many.

The Activator looks like a steal. I think the interior might be a little different than what I am looking for though.

Keep the ideas coming I really appreciate it!!

You can probably get that boat for 28k. Spend $1500 on interior and your still under your budget amount.
