Actually they all come with arches. The older 370 had an aluminum pipe arch, the newer ones have fiberglass.

The past discussion on these posts does not seem to give consideration to speed in proportion to hull design. My debate has some merit to those who consider height in the v-berth and hull design. Boats greater than 30 feet w a performance motor should have a ridged hull and a seamless bulkhead. The 38ss has more wasted space in relation to a cruiser because the high performance design.... thus access to the space is in the cockpit, thus not disturbing the bulkhead. LESS FLEX or, ideally, no flex for the hull. Can not compare this to a 33 ft sundancer.... true you may get some speed but not ideal design. Debate is welcome!! :-) I wish they brought this design back...

I forget the height, but I'm 6' and I recall I could just stand up in it. The cabin was a lot smaller than expected, and this was the deal breaker for me.

As stated earlier Sea Ray did a poor use of space when they laid out this boat. Under the cockpit you could house a Mack truck, but I believe it is only accessible through the floor of the cockpit. A small aft would have been nice. I ended up just going with a 340 Grand Sport by Wellcraft. The 12'6" beam is really nice and has a great layout for what I use it for.
