Thanks for the compliment! A lot of thought and hard work went into the paint design- I wanted something that would look really sharp but would still look fresh in 5-10 years. I agree, a lot of custom paint jobs are very specific and when I was boat shopping I looked at a bunch of newer boats with paint that already looked stale. I knew that ideally I wanted a boat with this color palette of silver, blue, black and white but wasn't able to find exactly what I wanted so I decided to design my own.

I agree with mikes280, your boat will look great 20 years from now. The helm is awesome, love the underhatch paint, the colors look sharp together, just a very well-thought-out design, congrats!! :ernaehrung004: :Score-101010:

HP 500's???????? from what we can C??????

Yup, HP500s, bone stock except for CMI headers. They are low-hour motors, start on the first crank and run like a swiss watch. We did some drive upgrades (new style clutches, XR shafts and gears) and now the package is essentially bullet-proof. It runs on pump gas and I can take it anywhere.

Great job on the resto!!!!!!! I remember when it was for sale and it looked like it needed a lot of TLC. It got that and more.

Actually, the boat really was in fantastic shape when I got it. It was by far the nicest boat that I looked at in terms of the overall condition, much nicer than even some 3 and 4 year old boats that I looked at. For some reason when this boat was listed it was filthy in the pics that they used, and that must have turned a lot of people off. In real life it was just a nice, clean, unmolested, original boat with low hours that was well cared for.

After I bought the boat I spent about 4 weeks detailing it, and it came out like brand new! In fact I ran it for a season as is, and just about everyone I knew tried to talk me out of the upgrades because the boat looked so good just like it was.
