I have a 1986 Chris Craft 210 scorpion Cuddy that takes on a little water? If I am out in it, the auto bilge pump will cut on about every 15 minutes or so, and dump about two or three pints of sea water. I am guessing two/three pints, it will cut on for maybe 2-3 seconds than shut off for over 15 minutes.
I have looked and cannot see any cracks or anything in hull. Does a boat have unseen places to take on water? This does not happen until out in the water for and hour or so.

Check the bellows (rubber boot) in your outdrive/gimbal assy...that is usually the culprit...They wear out and the muskrats like to chew on them...

Also check the raw water pick-up hose from the outdrive for pin hole leaks...that sounds like a likely avenue as well...

SEveral places in the Outdrive assembly to leak. Drive Shaft Bellows, Shift Cable Bellows, Swivel Seal in the Transom Assembly are probably the most likely if it is in the outdrive.

Aside from that don't forget the engine pulls water IN and pushes it OUT leaving several places for leaks to occur in the cooling system (hoses, exhaust systems, etc...).

If you have through the hull exhaust and no silent choice, check the block off plate that seals off the exhaust pipe that goes through the transom assembly. Also check your hoses, raw water and circulating pump housings.
