Friend has badly oxidized non skid. Any known treatment?

My 272 non-skid was a mess when I had first got the boat. I don't know if mine was oxidized, but you could tell it had been outside for awhile without a lot of maintenance. Extremely dirty and stained. I used a lot of 409 and a soft brush to clean it. Came out like new.

I have heard good things about a product called Sure Step by Aurora. You clean the non-skid per instructions then apply Sure-Step like wax and buff off. Supposed to brighten up non-skid and help keep it from staining etc. A lot of traffic on this subject on one of the other boating forums.

try a small spot with soft scrub w/bleach. I use it all the time for small stains on non-skid, works wonders.
