Stereo (head unit)

i'm due for a new one and know NOTHING about them these days, whats a decent, fair priced head unit for the boat, id like to be able to plug an MP3 player in. It doesnt need to be anything fancy at all, no need for high output hoopla, just sometihng that will fit

I got an Alpine with an MP3 and a remote for around 220.00. Looks good and works great.

MP3 is the only way to go in a boat. Unlimited sound all day on the water.

I'm looking for a new head unit as well, can you plug an Ipod in the front of the Alpine? Are there any high output units that you don't need to run an amp for decent sound?
