That whole situation is tragic. Prayers for all involved.

Saw both of those boats in Key West and both great looking boats. That MTI was fast! Sorry to hear about the unfortunate accident and deaths of someone who loved life and boating so much! RIP.

Very sad to read of this tragic accident, it has even reached the British news papers ... RIP

Now I hope I don't get raked over the coals for asking this question; It's OK to learn from these things isn't it? It was suggested that perhaps no "safety gear" was in use. If that was the case would the victims not have sunk, requiring a lengthy effort to retrieve the bodies? Basically I guess I'm asking if an unconscious person floats in salt water without a pfd. I don't think that's the case. And I think that the fact there was no search for bodies would indicate that pfds were in use.

RIP to both and Hope for a speedy and full recovery...prayers go out to the family of everyone involved

I know there are tons of questions that wil never be answered. I know everyone wanted pictures and I just got some. The worst ones are not released. These are just some random shots of damage. From looking at these pictures it's hard to believe how many lives were changed in 1 second!
