Default forged propellers

I am thinking about pumping up the power in my 36 Skater. I presently run a Kiekaefer style (non CNC) Mercury prop. My motors make 1,150+ HP. I have thrown prop blades before and I'm concerned additional horsepower may be too much for a cast wheel. Several people have recommended forged props for horsepower increase to prevent throwing blades. Does anyone have any experience with forged props and the benefit over cast props for longevity, reliability, speed, etc?
