OFFTHEFRONT's 311 runs 78 with 600HP 496's i believe a Bravo drive boat running 28 or 26 pitch props
Mine runs 77 with only 453 HP but with Surface drive.
I'm running 17.5 x 28 5b Merc racings.
If you have 525 Hp it should run 75 i would think

ray must be mistaken its been awhile i was toms best friend for over twentyyears and i never heard the ozarks story or that motors were over 500 hp i ve been in that boat many times i could beat it at 72 although his speedo read more. if they are 600 hp why did they only dyno at 525hp on 110 fuel has in previous post i would also guess that dyno headers make more power than headers on the boat.

At 70 gps my speedo is buried....I'm guessing if i was showing 70 on the vdo i would actually be running about 65 or maybe a little less

A guy that I boat with has 540's in his 311 bravo boat, and I think they dyno'ed 620 something. His boat ran 82 on gps and they are putting aluminum heads on the boat this winter.
