No, you asked the question first, right here post 18-19..and then Baywatch posted, but felt a need to delete. Then you asked again, and JS replied, but that wasn't good enough. The downturn hasn't been that bad if you are liquid and into other things.

Do you still have the Nor-Tech? and wasn't the last one a diesel?
As for getting out of the single step...makes sense.et it straight, you asked the question first.. right here

I believe Ilmor has enough experience now to where I would not hesitate to use them in a manufacture's hull for the first time. Good luck with the new boat regardless of your choice in power.

Is that not a bit hypocritical...I mean you are the one who jumped in the middle of this. I'm sorry but I get a bit tired of JS always bashing Cig, just as you've gotten defensive when NT is criticized, we all have our preferences and there is nothing wrong with that as I see it. As far as I know I have not been lying, if you'd like to point out where I'd be happy to address it.

I’ve been in the market for a new boat for the last several years. I looked at every builder mentioned on this thread and settled for the Cigarette 39 TG.
This decision came after factory visits to the majority of builders in consideration. In the end, it came down to OL and Cigarette. Never made it to Rhode Island (heard nothing but good things) but our experience at Cigarette was nothing short of outstanding.
Test ride was not a problem and boat performed as advertised. They worked around my schedule and spent the entire day with us.
I will also say, for those who suggest innovation has been diluted at Cigarette Racing, go to Opa-locka and take a tour. I have been a performance boater for the last 30 years and a partner in the new and used boat business for the last eight years. During this time I’ve had the opportunity to visit many boat manufacturer’s, large and small. By a wide margin, Cigarette’s new facility has been the most impressive. Additionally, as I have found in my short life, you learn a lot when you meet and talk to the people that do the work. The pride, passion and level of detail I witnessed made a difficult decision very easy.
Just my two cents

Why dont you re-read the thread, over a cocktail... relax a bit... break it down ...slowly...with out all that hostility... then you'll realize the whole world is not against you or Cig. You will see I did not jump in the middle. You asked a question, I simply answered it. You then got out of hand and bolegerant, as well as defensive to JS who then handed your azz to you. You walked right into it. No one has ever stated that you are I or the man on the moon are not intitled to choices. We might not always agree, and it is good to read about different view points, I learn from it, but it should be kept in a somewhat fun or professional manner. I see you have changed your toon somwhat, thats good. Have a great day. Jeff

The first question I asked in post #16 was of JS; you answered for him.
The next question I was referring to was the one JS asked of me which was bascially why would I sell a boat I liked so much. I felt in turn since the same question be asked of you. If it was too personal it need not be answered. I didn't know your history and regardless it's non of my business. As for your difficulties I wish you and your wife all the best. Problems often turn into opportunities; its all a matter of persepctive.
Handing it to me...LOL.
