What happened to all the fun on this board :D ? It seems lately all we do is gripe and ***** about each others choice in boats and bad mechs. Let's all bring back the FUN on this board and give up all the *****'n.
Hey, Sean, BCC, Travis, puder, Mr. Cig, DJD, Too Old, Audio, RiverGirl, Mike Carter, Tinkerboater, DanL, Sunseeker, shorgasm, RiskTaker, Cord, Attidude Adjustment, Goodfella, Ottis311, Steve David, kaamacat, and ALL those that I have not mentioned. LET'S bring back the FUN of this board.
Hell, I remember when Travis was the most controversal thing we had going, and DAMN wasn't HE entertaining :D . Seems like chicken **** compared to what's been going on lately. All this AT vs. PP stuff, who cares :confused: . Aren't we all about having FUN in our HOT ROD BOATS ? Who cares if you have a Cig/Apache/AT/PP/Fountain/Skater/PQ/Formula/Eliminator/Spector/Scarab/Bayliner/OuterLimits/Hustler/etc/etc/etc. Sorry if I left ANYONE out, but I only have limited brain capacity at 4:00am EST and a (few) rum&cokes, aey Stinson.

All I'm saying guys and girls is can't we all get along????? This is supposed to be FUN, and I don't think that I'm a minority in saying that can't we ALL share the love of the sport.

Be careful of the toes that you step on today, as they might be connected to the ass that you have to kiss tomorrow.

I know what the threads are going to be like, so I do not even read them. Some of the missing dinamic that we used to have with people like Travis is a bummer, He will be back some day I hope, he is just working his but off on his boat.

I was just talking about this to Baja-Daze yesterday, between dead board members, who ripped off who, bad boat dealers, bad trailer dealers, bad factory service, bad engine builders, part suppliers, AT Vs. PP, and so on its getting ridiculous...

The Internet is a VERY powerful tool, I have learned that there are two sides to every story and then there is the TRUTH. There are a lot of positives to SOME of the things that have been happening on here though,, We have weeded out a theif and a few bad business men, and if all this saves just ONE of us getting RIPPED off,, well, isn't that part of the point...

I've only been a member for a short time, and yes, I'm a member of the dreaded boat industry...which anyone who has gotten to know me knows...I agree totally with the above. Since I've been around OSO, I've learned a ton, laughed alot, and made some great friends! Let's keep it that way..the bashing and namecalling is rediculously unnecessary, to say the least.

i used to come to this site daily and have fun....not so fun anymore. i've decided to go elsewhere to have my "boat chat". i would love to see this site be fun again but it seems like every thread had somebody bashing someone else for one reason or another. i pretty much stay in the tech side anymore because if i want to see people fight i'll go home:D

I am a car nut also and I try to stay current on a particular Audi web site. Same S*&% goes on there with the bashing.(maybe not as extreme) but I can honestly say when this board gets going, it sure can be funny:) :)

Well put RLT I own a AT and have removed all my AT insignia from it (well it kinda had something to do with the fresh paint) Lets all just group hug. I have my own opinions on many builders, rigging shops, and engine builders from hands on experience and if asked i will offer but i usually try to keep most of them to my self and elect to let them know of my dis-satisfaction (is that a word) by taking my business else where.

Theres two problems I see on this board: ALot of the people are sheep (no offense shane:D ) They just follow what other people have said. If someone starts bashing they pitch in to and start bashing. If someone starts off with a nice thread about a subject, everyone follows. I remember everyone was down on PBM talking all kinds of crap. I wrote a thread that said, hey, these guys arent all that bad and it's a great mag. They made a mistake, end of story, get over it. That thread was long with people that agreed, the contorversy died.

The other prob. is alot of people like watching drama and instigate it.

My point is, don't be like other knuckle heads out there. You see a crash off the side of the road, dont brake, slow to almost a stop so you can see.....just keep driving, glance over if you must, but move on! Blaze your own trail, have your own opinions (hopefully based on facts). And for the love of god quit acting like a bunch of little girls. Now, summer is here, lets boat!!
