There are lots of rules by state, county, city, etc that most often all come down to the same thing, at least to some degree...and that is nudity can't be "sexual in nature". Case in point here in Wichita recently, a guy liked to walk around his house naked and would go out nude and pick up his newspaper. Neighbor lady was INCENSED and demanded the cops do something about it, and they basically said as long as he wasn't exposing himself in a provocative/sexual manner, he could do what he wants. Basically if he wasn't beating the the meat in front of someone, it was cool.

We got back to dock and saw that same boat docked two piers over from us 😂
Never saw/met the owner but always wondered what he saw.

Anyone in the Tampa Bay area should check out Passage Key. Beautiful sandbar near the mouth of Tampa Bay and clothing optional. Yes, like any beach, there are some you might not want to take home with you, but there plenty that you would.

Expert tip: Plan on joining in on the fun. If you just plan to just keep your clothes on and stare at others, you generally won't be well received.

We are in Florida and wife usually boats topless whenever she can.
If there are other boats near, especially with children, she will have her top on.
If she is already topless and you pull up on us, she stays topless.......is it offends you, then move on !

Many lakes, such as LOTO, have kind of an unofficial party cove or three where topless (or better) is somewhat prevalent and accepted. Everyone likes to see a nice looking woman showing her assets...but where it starts getting dicey is when the alcohol has been flowing and things degenerate to simulated or real sex acts. My personal take on this is, doing it at the back of some cove, out of the direct site of those who shouldn't or don't want to see it, power to them.

It gets hard (no pun intended) to figure out the LEGALITY of any form of nudity on the waterways, I suppose it depends on the state. Here in Kansas it's actually pretty open, one can actually parade around nude in public as long as one is not being "sexual" about it in any way. What that means, at least in one case I read about...is that for men no boners, for women no beaver shots.
