Every year tournament boats have to be approved for use in sanctioned water ski tournaments. There is a rigorous objective battery of tests the boats must pass to qualify for them to be used. I am a tournament driver and my only knock on the MasterCraft is that it has been sluggish to speed. One of the drivers involved in the recent test(results not released) raved about the difference in acceleration between the Indmar and Illmor power. They might be poised to make a difference in the ski boat market. Heaven knows the wakeboard boats need a ton of HP to make them move.
