12V71 with open headers must be the next loudest thing from a Saturn V rocket... You can hear x71 boat engines coming from 10 miles away even with wet mufflers.

Has to be the coolest thing I've seen in a while.

Take or leak? On a 8V-71 the add mark on the dip stick is 1 gallon. This one is a 12V-71 so I'd assume it is close to the same.
Some Detroit Diesel info, the 1st number in the number of cylinders, the V is the style of block & the last number, 71 in this case is the cubic inches per hole. DD also made a 16V series in the 71 & 92 displacements.
