There's a hatch on the deck that allows you access to the deck if needed...

For me being able to access the deck is a priority. Everytime I go out I need to anchor off the bow. I remember the first time I took my boat out and was shocked it didnt have a center cleat for anchoring. If you primarily boat on a inland lake or dock your boat then access to the deck isnt as much of a priority. It all comes down to what boat fits your needs. Another example is I would love to own a 28-32 Skater but with their lack of any type of cutty and small interior they dont fit my needs Like most of the west coast cat boats do.

Thats what the hatch in front of the windshield is for. I hate those DCB's they're junk. Slow, ugly who would want them....

Ahhh, but you went from an Ultra 26' deck to a DCB 30 deck.

Again... For you black sock wearing koolaid drinking DCB'ers, I am not bashing Dave's product. He builds a nice blingy boat if that's what you're looking for.

Opinion Opinion....
