For Fl home boys 65 degrees at over 90mph is cold!

Jim thanks for the input. I have water in gear case already when they were stock but did not blow them up. I check them every time I go out. Have done Wayne Taylor seals and put expansion tanks on them. So far so good. I have to keep my fingers crossed though.
Hope to see you on the west coast some time. By the way met you at the Miami show last year with my friend Tom at the Skater booth.
Are you coming this year?

They are mercury 300x's. They are stroked and do not turn the rpm's of a 2.5. Also the wind noise has a lot to do with it. I will get another video up of a run on Lake Norman last summer with them wound up.

VERY IMPRESSIVE

Thanks for sharing. I really liked the "transom cam" view. Now all I want to do is shoot myself. My boat won't even come out of the barn until mid-May!

Gosh I love the sound of a snorty outboard - and you've got two really nice sounding ones on your transom. Nice! I've gotta get a video like that of mine with its open exhaust. I'm only turning 6,500 RPMs, but it sounds equally nice.

Remember, outboards only smell bad when they're in front of you - which they usually are.
