Wow!!! Great video!!! That boat looked like it ran pretty smooth out there on the ocean. What kind of speed did you running out there. Gotta love the warm weather, we have the same thing here in So Cal:)

prostock85 01-15-2011 10:23 PM

Nice video. Whats the differences between a 28 and 32? Obviously length but what about beam, tunnel depth, tunnel width?

Thanks for the compliments guys! just wanted to keep you all motivated to get boats ready for the spring. Worked really hard on the set up for this boat. Made to run in the ocean where we live. I have to say for 28 feet it is impressive. Was running just under a 100mph. Ran a 42' Cigarette with staggered engines same day and smoked him.

Nauti Kitty 01-16-2011 10:23 AM

Sweet Vid

What OB's are those They didnt have that normal high pitched sound maybe just the wind

NK

Double Rigged 01-16-2011 10:38 AM

For Fl home boys 65 degrees at over 90mph is cold!

Jim thanks for the input. I have water in gear case already when they were stock but did not blow them up. I check them every time I go out. Have done Wayne Taylor seals and put expansion tanks on them. So far so good. I have to keep my fingers crossed though.
Hope to see you on the west coast some time. By the way met you at the Miami show last year with my friend Tom at the Skater booth.
Are you coming this year?

They are mercury 300x's. They are stroked and do not turn the rpm's of a 2.5. Also the wind noise has a lot to do with it. I will get another video up of a run on Lake Norman last summer with them wound up.

Thanks for sharing. I really liked the "transom cam" view. Now all I want to do is shoot myself. My boat won't even come out of the barn until mid-May!

Gosh I love the sound of a snorty outboard - and you've got two really nice sounding ones on your transom. Nice! I've gotta get a video like that of mine with its open exhaust. I'm only turning 6,500 RPMs, but it sounds equally nice.

Remember, outboards only smell bad when they're in front of you - which they usually are.

JIMKID Motorsports 01-16-2011 06:53 PM

too stroked you been smoking to much 2 stroke youll be hearing the nice sound of my big small blocks LOL

FREEDOM US1 01-16-2011 09:31 PM

Have you contacted Diamond Marine down here in Fort Lauderdale? They are the best and their motors make a ton of horsepower!

I wouldn't send them anywhere else!! Their the best!! The motors should be done shortly. I shipped the there a couple of months ago and said no hurry. But I'll be ready for them in February.

The heated floor is down and they will start assembling the metal building this week if they can work around the snow and ice. Bad time of year but it will get done by summer if I had to take a guess. See you in Miami!!:drink:
