Help with missing nephew

My nephew has been gone since weds along with his girlfriend. He was always on my boat with me, he was a good line jockey...................

His jeep is a black wrangler with grey hard top. It has a big push bar front bumper. It stands out. If anybody sees it please call me 24/7

has the family checked with the banks to see if money is being removed from accounts and where? this will leave a cookie trail....
and how old are they.......
when i was a late teen we use to go on what we called random adventures....... one of these trips took us as far as northern cali from bc canada over a weekend .....most of us told our folks..... but not always
did he leave alone or with girlfriend?
do they have jobs
did they elope?
banks and credit cards are a good start
and i hope they phone home and or are found safe

Do we know for sure they ran away? I think every wooded area, lake, creek, and high water point near roads and trails he frequented should be checked, his friends should know his favorite mudding spots, off road trails, and the route he takes driving home. Have them drive them check them and look through those areas, its an awful thing if they were in an accident, but the sooner they are found the better the chances are they will be found alive.

Thanks to everybody who has offered help and suggestions. All we know is they are being classified as "endangered runaways" my wife was the last one to see him and his girlfriend on Thursday morning. They of course ran from her and have since turned cell phones off. They are believed to only have cash. They did not have jobs, as they were both on athletic teams at school, year round. We do know they had been smoking weed a few times over the past year. No other drugs have been mentioned. I was alarmed at how many kids smoke weed now. It is very popular in MD. detectives are still questioning the main group of friends. I will continue to up date but THANKS for all of the help and prayers.................................

Just saw a quick mention on CBS 9 news.

I printed the flyer and posted at my office. 60+ Verizon techs that are out and about most of the day come through my building daily so hopefully if they head this way, they'll be spotted.

I'm anxious to see these kids get back home. Prayers sent!

I hope they come home or call soon. also will keep a look out up here in new england area for a jeep with maryland plates. kids these days get upset real easy it seems to me. my kid is 17 this month.if we try to be stern with our kids they take it the wrong way. our prayers are with you and your family that they come home safe. god bless. Ple3ase watch channels nbc 4, fox 5, abc 7 and cbs 9 out of DC. They just held a press conference with the families. No I was not on TV, just my wife crying.

Once again, thanks to all who have sent out info. With all of the people looking, the jeep was found about 3 hours out of DC at a rest area off of Route 81 close to a town of New Hope. Bad new is the jeep has been there since Jan 13th, according to the attendant. Not sure why it took 8 days to call it in but someone did call in. Detectives went to the area and searched the jeep and have it back in Montgomery County, MD. The people in the jeep were supposedly seen getting into a blue ford focus/escort....................all of this is from the attendant who never reported the jeep, so not sure how reliable info is.

Both kids left home with nothing more than what they have on. The girl did nto even take her glasses or contacts, my nephew left cash in his room. I still can not figure out how in the hell my nephew found Route 81?? He could barely make it out of his neighborhood and left his gps at home.
