Yep sad news as I'm born and raised in Livonia. First time in the history of Livonia a cop had been killed. Great turnout for the memorial services - City hall had never been so packed.

He was shot and killed by a petty, low life home burglar over a couple hundered dollars worth of crap. Sad to see men and women so dedicated losing their lives so needlessly. RIP
