Default 2011 Hornet Model One

Got my first one today just in time for Bham Boat Show.Workmanship, fit and finish seems to be first class.Black hull would show any imperfections and I don't see any.The latest PPI interior looks very nice. This is a brand new company with some young energetic folks with a vision and a good business plan. Our show starts Thursday, will be interesting to see the reception the new Hornet gets. www.hornetmarine.com

Currently Merc 4.3 with a 5.0 shortly.A loaded boat with all options, high 20's.I am excited about this little boat as I had lots of fun in the old days running the boats that it was patterned after.Maybe they can fit the new 5.7 Ilmor into one

Not trying to be a prick here. Just trying to understand.
You have a company that has the same name as a Donzi.

1965 Donzi Hornet 19'

That’s selling a boat that looks like a Donzi.

(recognize the guy closest in picture?)

And “the inspiration for Hornet Marine is the Thunderbird: the world’s first offshore powerboat built with gas turbine (jet) engines.”
So (1965 thunderbird’s) Jim’s boat, a giant offshore aluminum race boat with twin turbines is the inspiration for this little fiberglass boat with a 4.3ltr?

No disrespect but what‘s the story?
It is a nice little boat. Congratulations!

High 20's is a great price really. Would be sweet with a 383ci or even a 454 in it.

Heck, might as well go with a 525.....

Speeds with the 4.3? Expected speed with the 5.0?

Sweeet little boat Robert.....I was on your website a week or 2 ago and saw it.

Power to weight ratio is probably better with the 4.3 and still top 60mph with the 6 cyl.

383 stroker and a Black Hawk. That would make for an interesting little pocket rocket ride
