Baja Daze,
Great idea Bro! thanks alot! a kegerator looks like a MUST for the next party, i dont know if ive got time to construct it for this one.... maybe ill hafta get one of the other ppl to do it :D |
When I lived in New Jersey our neighbor used to bury his in the sand, packed in ice. It would last almost all weekend.
Don't know how the ground is where you are. |
Baja Dave,
Thanks for the info, looks like i may hafta go the ice route.... a blanket is a good idea ;) |
We used to use a garbage can with a hot water heater jacket wrapped around it and a blanket or foam cover-ice lasts 2 days in the summer. Hmmm.... the weekend is 2 days long-Coincedence????:D

Oh yeah... if you got room in the freezer... and to offset the cost of ice a little... freeze as much of your own ice as you can. You can use cool whip containers, 1 liter soda bottles, large water bottles ect... ;)
|
I think I may try freezing a bunch of bottles...... ill get on it;)
|
Just put it outside covered with a blanket. The next few night you will have to worry more about them freezing. It will be 30 deg here tonight.:D

Hydroscream
Look around for a used refrigerator, that is still in working order, a little engineering and you could have the keg inside staying cold and have the spicket sticking thur the side for drawing a few cool ones, the hell with all that ice.
Eliminator219 :D :D :D But what do I know? ;) ;) |
Yup, there's always a smartass in the crowd! ;)
|
I like the frig thing!!!! I have an old freezer in the basement that will work perfectly. Thanks for the info guys! Hell I'm not even having a party. But when I do my beer will be cold..........!BRRRRRRRR!
