I finished my plug on on teh new dash. I got all my fiberglass supplies (including a cup gun for the gel cote) and am just about ready to start making the mold. BUT i just wanted to make sur ei am putting the release on the right way. It is like the crap i use on my boat except it says "mold release" so i know its the right stuff. Do I apply it just like i would car or boat wax? Ho wmany coats shodul i do? So far i have 4 on it. Is there anyway i can tell if i put enough on prior to spraying on the gelcote and realizing it won't come off?
