I have a 31 now but having owned a 20 and 26 sutphen, 21 nova and a 16 ft bow rider I can say small boats run cheaper and likely are more fun more of the time than thier larger counterparts.
We could just run around in a small area in the 20 FT sutphen and have a blast. going on longer distance runs wasnt very fun though unless it was on the river. Theres a special place in my heart for small boats. contrary to popular belief most larger boat guys dont look down on smaller boats and thier owners. We almost all had them and think man those were the days!
It was simple, fun, and inexpensive!

I begged Reggie to build me a 24 mini-me copy of one of my 42's but he wouldnt. The old mold was shot. I thought it wouldve been cool

My first go-fast that I owned, a 1983 22' Classic. I bought it in 1996, joined NJPPC in 2000 and ran every poker run for three years in it until I literally cracked the stringers out of it and split the fuel tank
Moved up to my 29' Kryptonite and in 2007 got me 38 Donzi.
I missed having an easy to maintain boat for fun so I bought the Sea-Doo.
Of course my friends an I in NJPPC tend to take things to the extreme on all levels.... now the last pic is a small boat!.... with some not so small guys!
