I have a 36 Outlaw. Excluding the built in platform and "beak" the closet in a Fountain as far as "true length" would be the 42. Now this is not even considering cockpit and cabin space.

That is another story.

I will say I still have the edge in space there..

Hope this helps.

Mark

PS: Let the fun begin, but I have been on all at one point or another.

They are both great people. Knew them before they became my lake neighbors. They are keeping the boat very clean and well maintained. They are as "anal" as I am! Other than a drive issue it has been trouble free for them as far as I am aware. I will be seeing them at a function in their hometown next weekend and will tell them hi for you.

On another note can you give me the build sheet for what you did to the engines. I have HP 500 carbed that need to be freshened!

Thank, Later,
Mark

I don't know if going to agree with 6 feet of fluff on the 42 compared to a 36.

A 42' Fountain will be at least 4MPH faster than a 36' Baja with identical power....

During one PokerRun, I walked away from a 40 OL with triple 500EFI's in 3-5's.
I bet I have the same cockpit space as a 36.
